| 1. If you could all put your thinking caps on for a new venue, or keep it at birdwood ??????????? 2. A new date for ACD # 3 2009, my thoughts were for the long weekend in October (1st weekend Labour Day in S.A) as SESM has changed over to early November (Same weekend as Extreme horsepower ) 3. Your thoughts on holding a stereo "sound off" and an engine "dyno challenge" on the day next year????? as well as keeping the tyre change challenge and club/group tug 'o' war 4. Am awaiting corrospondence from Mr. Jane on the use of AIR for a All Commodore Day street meet that weekend also, thoughts???? example........... Friday night cruise (away from port/enfeild council area lol) Saturday drag day, Saturday night dinner meet n greet somewhere hotel ect (to welcome interstate guests) could make it a fancy dress themed night like SESM????? and Sunday the show 'n ' shine and trophy presentation . This topic would be good in the gereral section of the forum for feedback, as we seem to be getting alot of traffic | |

| Just wondering while we are talking location maybe we could ask smasa how much it costs for regency park oval. Location is better for promotion and getting to. Should be big enough and the traffic along south road should bring the spectators in?
also if your gonna do fancy dress make sure there is no theme....then ya can go as a muesli bar pmsl
I have approached another Adelaide location for costs etc and just waiting to hear back from them will lave ya guessing till I get an answer back
cheers Pazz | |

| What about Waikerie for a location, dont they have a drag strip up there somewhere, was only thinking that because of the idea of Saturday drags, be good to find a venue where we could keep everything all in the one place, and they also have a pretty good pub up there, only a suggestion tho, also I was thinking to try and find a venue that is in a pretty touristy area, just a thort. | |

| imo waikery (howeva ya spell it) is to far away for a 1 day show, the day drags out long enough as it is without a 3hr drive each way. and the dragstrip is only an 8th mile not a 1/4. also wouldn't be a fan of taken my VK out to get stone chips on the way to a show, im sure steve knows where im comen frm there lol like i said tho thats jst my opinion. | |

| I think I know where Pazz is talking about good idea if its that spot out gawler way I personally think Wakerie may be a bit to far out, Mallala is closer and they have an awesome pub, pool table outside on the street is fantastic hey theres an idea for a cruise outing Could go racing on Saturday, dinner @ the Mallala pub on Saturday night and show n shine on Sunday . Keep your thoughts coming | |

| Dyno and Drags would be good, anywhere in the metro area with a fenced oval (school oval) would be handy. Mallala is a bit far to go (for paying spectators anyway). | |

| I must agree keeping it close to the local area as you really need to have the public through to make some money through the gates and let all the people see the fabulous cars on display | |

| as far as location goes, birdwood is good for shade ect but thoes little bugs that wher around gave me the s**ts by the end of the day, i dont know what others thought. also it seems theres a lot of car events useing birdwood these days so a change would be good, also somewhere that gets more public people seeing the event coz it lookd like last time it was mainly just other entrants there. | |

| 1st weekend in October eh? That's gonna make it really hard for us to come over now, as we've just locked our date in for Cruise for Charity as Sunday 18th October. [insert swearing here].
How firm are you on that date? | |
