| decided i needed a new stereo so went out and bought a pioneer DEH-4150UB and the pocket to go under it the reason i got the rear mount USB is for my 4gig Iriver MP3 player that will be stashed away out of sight as this unit controls everything on it and keeps it charged at alll times also turns it on to turn it off when no power supplied for 5 min turns off automatic wont be putting it in for a while untill i get the steering wheel control module and the RCA leads for the rear sub, that will be going in (i know it has factory subs but i want more ) should be all good when everything arrives will keep you posted | |

| well finally have a sub box specs for this box are as follows 10" venom 200w rms subwoofer in custom box to suit speaker out side dimensions are 400mm across 300mm high 220mm deep all up cost $130 for all materials to build it took approximately 6 hours to build box seal it and carpet it just need to make edges a bit neater as this was the first time making one of these. will just get some brushed stainless steel and make a border around front edge. anyway heres the pics so far and yes i need to dust the dvd player lol | |

| just an update on stuff ive been doing first of all put sub box in boot went for drive and it kept falling over so to stop this i went to work and made a bracket this is fixed to the rear of the seat and the sub box now the box wont move and will be hard to steal if someone decides to try and the other thing that was done is the new boot light 24x5mm white LED's in the rear garnish of boot this serves two purposes sheds light across the floor of boot and when you raise the spare wheel floor it lights up the tyre well so you can see what your doing at night as the normal boot light is blocked when you raise the floor panel still have one more lot of these LED's to put in the boot but this time they go in the lid so when you raise the boot they shine down on the boot floor alot brighter than the standard boot light. | |
