hi all here are a few pics of the latest edition to our household.....
2001 WH Statesman, 5.7litre GEN III V8, grey leather interior, all the statesman options, and only 135,000 kms on the clock....has been serviced every 10,000kms, drives fantastic, cannont fault it and is the 1st V8 i have owned or even driven for that matter !!!!!! .......just like McDonalds....
"I'm lovin it"........unfortunately due to circumstances will be 3 weeks before handover, but deposit put down and all good.....gives them time to touch up a few little details here and there....

Nice Andy first V8 far out mate. That is unbelievable, you wont know yourself. V8s rock, once you have owned one you never want anything else. Especially a bleeding Yellow VL 6cyl LOL

not sure where to start buddy......am still wipin the drool off my chin lmao.....exhaust and wheels are 1st on the list, then we will go from there.

ok has been a while so thought i would post up the beasty for all to see....so far have had the XHP Sabers fitted, a very nice looking rim, and today had the 2.5" twin with X-Pipes fitted....not over the top but has a nice note, and quietnes down when you back off.....we used it in a Wedding on saturday(Our eldest daughter renee's)....had lots ofd comments about both the bride and the car...lmao...cheers all Andy

it's just like going to your place and seeing cans with a "Certain Bear" on it......I think we both should get free lifetime supplies for all the unabashed free advertising we are giving them .....lmao

just a few small updates.....picked up a set of gold statesman badges which I think set it off nicely....also installed a fire extinguisher, and a mate of mine does laser cutting so cut me a pure polished stainless holden logo which i put in the boot.....

Well today gave the beasty it's first full detail, conditioned the leather seats with a brilliant meguiars product that softens up the leather and restores the shine, a full polish which took 4 and a 1/2 hours, and polished up the rims.....then took her out for a bit of a photo shoot out at Salisbury, am very happy with the end result....

Looking good Andy, spotted the beast driving down Main north road during the week but you weren't behind the wheel?????

yeah did a rear main seal on it but thankfully was covered under warranty...it would have been the guys bringing it back from parafield after it was done.

lol steve ya mad Ba#@*rd.......well just an update ..picked up my new LS1 engine covers from the painters today and fitted them all up......am stoked with the gloss on them, really sit nice in the bay......

If I can make a suggestion, head down to Colin at SVE and grab yourself a set of chrome LS1 caps for oil filler ect will set that bay off nicely, oh and if you chrome the banana's, well wow
Strap the fire wall wire's up tight with some cable ties, cost's F A for a good clean look.

Get a bit of 1200 and autosol on those ABS lines, you will be happy with the results for little cash outlay (just plain ol elbow grease)

Well picked up a set of oil, power steer and radiator caps, with the GEN III V8 laser etched on them and today fitted a set of VYSS pedals.....very happy with the result.

been playing around with google picasa 3 and did a collage of my car, this program produces some very nice reults and it's a freebie to boot....

Well today had a bit of a play around with the car, last night I had a thought about modding my eye level brake light using my vinyl cutter, so sat down today with a pencil and paper, sketched up how I wanted it to look and then cut the word "HOLDEN" out of black avery vinyl, removed the eye level brake light, and stuck the vinyl over the top....was a bit of a hassle as you have to remove the rear seat to access the parcel shelf to get to the light, but I think it was worth it.....As now when I hit the brakes this is what you see from behind....Cheers. well a bit of an update, got bored with the XHP sabers so have replaced them with a set of 18" Chrome BSA 291's.....

Well give the stato a bath and a polish today, then it was out with the Autosol on the rims for an hour and a half !!!!! end result I'm very happy with..

A bit of an update...picked up a set of chrome VY mirrors for the stato....thanks to Mike (SweetVS)...Also picked up a brand new Sony MEX- DV1000 DVD head unit to go with my roof mounted screen..for $220 !!!!
mirrors were a straight bolt up replacement for the existing WH mirrors....am stoked with the way they look on the car...

well scored a bargain today...a 7" Response Roof mounted TFT screen with all the bits for $100 bucks
